Authorship and approval
Authors verify the research and approve the final work. For journals following ICMJE recommendations, authorship requires more than language editing alone. Contributions that do not qualify for authorship should be acknowledged as appropriate, with any required permission. ICMJE authorship guidance
Originality and accurate reporting
We do not support fabricated observations, invented references, bought authorship, undisclosed replacement theses or altered results intended to mislead. Authors must check the sources and approve scientifically accurate revisions.
Disclosure and confidentiality
Follow the relevant institutional and journal requirements for editorial assistance and any tool use. Discuss confidentiality and the approved sharing method before sending files. Do not include unnecessary patient identifiers or material you lack permission to share.
Independent publication decisions
A support provider does not decide whether a journal accepts a paper or whether a database indexes it. MedScholars does not guarantee acceptance, backdated publication, indexing or a fixed similarity score. Concerns about the service can be raised at editor@medscholars.co.in.
Questions about editorial and research integrity
- Can an editor be added as an author automatically?
- No. Authorship must meet the applicable criteria; payment or editing alone does not establish it. ICMJE authorship guidance
- Can you correct a problem without telling the author?
- Scientific changes require the author's decision. A clear record of proposed changes is part of responsible support.
