Organize work by status and contribution
Separate published papers, accepted work, preprints and ongoing projects. Record identifiers, dates and your actual role. Include a concise research statement explaining how the projects relate, supported by the work itself.
Keep evidence of genuine activity
Maintain author-approved contribution records, actual review acknowledgements where disclosure is permitted, presentations and documented use of your research. Do not purchase authorship, manufacture reviewer roles or describe a journal submission as accepted.
Use metrics responsibly
When reporting citations or an h-index, identify the database and date and check attribution errors. Explain substantive impact with verifiable evidence where available. A number without context may be less informative than a clear example of how the research has been used.
Keep immigration decisions with qualified counsel
Researchers considering EB-1A, EB-2 NIW or O-1 routes should obtain legal advice specific to their situation and use current official requirements. MedScholars can discuss organizing the research record; it does not determine visa eligibility, prepare legal petitions or promise an immigration outcome. There is no publication package that guarantees approval.
